Gloria Gay Manley, 86, of New Richmond, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Born on May 23, 1940, in Slayersville, Kentucky, Gloria lived a life defined by love, family, and hard work. She was reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband of 63 years, Roger Manley. Roger often shared that it was love at first sight when he first saw Gloria working barefoot on her family's farm. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on love, devotion to one another, and an unwavering commitment to their family.

Gloria was raised in a large family with eight sisters and nine brothers, and she carried the values of family, compassion, and perseverance with her throughout her life.

She was a devoted mother to Mark Manley and Andria Sue Padilla and a proud grandmother to Tyler Manley and Sarah Elizabeth Padilla, all of whom were the greatest blessings in her life.

A lifelong horse enthusiast, Gloria had a deep love and respect for horses. She was an active member of the Ohio Horsemen's Council and found great joy in spending time with the animals she loved. Known for her remarkable work ethic, Gloria never shied away from hard work and was admired for her strength, determination, and willingness to help others. Her kindness, quiet generosity, and loving heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Gloria's greatest legacy is the love she shared with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering dedication, and the example she set through a lifetime of hard work and selfless love.

In addition to her husband, Roger, Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and other loved ones who welcomed her into eternal rest.
